J.S. Ward was the third president of the Nashville Bible School. He attended school at Transylvania and the University of Tennessee Medical School. Milestones during his tenure include being a “business agent” under William Anderson, creating the first alumni reunion in May 1906 (1,000 attendants), and awarding nine different degrees in 1906.
